ANGELA CUSUMANO started dancing at the age of five in Brooklyn, NY and has studied under some of the biggest choreographers in the industry such as: Wade Robson, Tyce Diorio, Gil Duldulao, Savion Glover, Laurie Ann Gibson, Brian Friedman, Mia Michaels, Cris Judd, Geo Hubela, Frank Hatchett & Dave Scott.
Theater credits include: The King and I, Cabaret, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Sweet Charity, Crazy for You and West Side Story. She's toured nationally and internationally as a backup dancer for the group "Who Da Funk" for their #1 radio hit, "Shiny Disco Balls." Performances at Six Flags Great Adventure include "The World of Magic", "Spirit of the Tiger", "Industrial Movement" and "Dead Man's Party.” She was also a member of the "alternative jazz" based company, "Push Factor Dance Company" in Astoria, NY, as well as the hip hop based company, "Iconic" in Englishtown, NJ.
She served as the hip hop instructor of Push Factor's National Convention, "DanzJam". Other performances include Britney Spears impersonation work for corporate events throughout NY, NJ & CT, "Tubway's In Living Color Fly Girl Tribute" at Mr. Black's Den, KTU's Beatstock, "Fashionably Yours Fashion Show", numerous studio performances throughout NY and NJ and has also worked on set as a performer and off set as a choreographer on numerous music videos. She has choreographed for  all girl R&B singing group "Love Jones Girls" (Urban Melodic Entertainment) and has danced in "VENOM Dance Crew". As a part of Venom, Angela was featured on Paula Abdul's hit TV show, "Live To Dance." The show aired on CBS in January 2011.


Angela is currently a faculty member of ARB's Princeton Ballet School (Princeton, NJ), Premiere Dance (Bridgewater & Flemington, NJ) and American Repertory Ballet's DANCE POWER and DANCE POWER II public school programs (New Brunswick, NJ). Choreography credits for University of Delaware's Dark Art's Program and Rider University's "Rider Dances" performances. Certified as a Zumba instructor, Angela also teaches open Zumba classes in dance studios and fitness centers throughout NJ. Angela is skilled, passionate and ambitious about her craft. Class style ranges from street to sassy, with a fusion of hip hop, contemporary, funk and street jazz. Class starts with a warm-up to stretch and strengthen the body, followed by a combination consisting of energetic and hard hitting choreography. Students should have experience with jazz technique before taking this class.
